0.45 MPa Highly Accelerated Stress Test Chamber Technical Parameters

The Wewon’s 0.45 MPa highly accelerated stress test chamber is used for reliability testing of products under very severe temperature, humidity and pressure conditions. For example, moisture absorption of circuit board materials, semiconductor packaging performance testing, resistance to moisture, Life testing for accelerated aging of connectors, magnetic materials, polymers, photosynthetic components, EVA and other products.

Different from other Chinese HAST chambers manufacturers, The controller for Wewon’s 0.45 MPa highly accelerated stress test chamber which install on the front of machine’s door. This design is more humanized. If the HAST chamber breaks down during operation, the door of the test room will open suddenly due to excessive internal pressure. Because if the door of the test room were to open suddenly, the 0.45 MPa air pressure and +162 ℃ hot temperature of air inside the test room would probably burn the facial skin of the engineer standing next to the HAST test chamber.

If the controller is installed in the control panel area on the right side of the machine, It is actually a very big security hazard. However, we can install the controller on the front of door, So that the staff who is programming or checking the controller test data, this will away from danger, to ensure their safety of life. Compared with other Chinese HAST chambers design for control system, It seems more reasonable to install the controller on the front of door. Do you like Wewon’s unique design ?

Basically, The Wewon’s highly accelerated stress test chambers work with AC 220V, 50/60 Hz, 1 phase, If you local power voltage is different, Please identify the difference for our technical engineer checking purpose. Because the difference power and frequency, The hast chamber has some different conditions for test room’s pressure.

Be sure to choose the Purified Water for highly accelerated stress test, the electrical resistivity should lower than 0.05M Ωcm, PH value should between 6.0 ~ 7.2 Use time of wet bulb gauze no more than 200 hours. There is no need to use compressed air when the machine runs.

If you want to add water to the machine, all you have to do is open the front drawer and unscrew the lid of the water tank. The water tank has a capacity of 10 liters. If it’s just a normal test, the tank’s water can be used continuously for about 1 to 2 weeks, It depends on the humidity control and requirements for your test.

Please make sure you will use the pure water/ purified water for highly accelerated stress test.

4 type different test methods for highly accelerated stress test
① Unsaturation Control∣Humi Water Temp Control
During temperature heat-up when condensation can easily occur on the reverse side of the specimen, the temperature of the humidifying water automatically increases while keeping it +30℃ lower than the test room’s temperature.
After testing is complete, the test room of highly accelerated stress test chamber is left to cool and depressurize naturally until test room’s pressure reaches 0.010 MPa. Then both air and water are discharged.
② Humidity Saturation and Temperature Control
Test room’s temperature is controlled through a humidifying heater. Test room’s temperature = humidifying water temperaure.
After testing is complete, The test room of HAST chamber is left to cool and depressurize naturally until chamber pressure reaches 0.01 MPa.
Then only air is discharged, Humidifying water is retained
③ The Dry Bulb and Wet Bulb Temperature Control
The temperature and humidity gradient before and after testing can be controlled.
After HAST testing is finished and test room’s pressure reaches 0.01 MPa, only air is discharged. Humidifying water is retained.
In the hold procedure, temp and humidity inside the test room are maintained at the +50℃ to +95℃/ 75% to 95%RH
