Short Circuit Test Chamber for Lithium Ion Battery Short Circuit Test Machine

The short circuit test chamber is used to test whether the lithium ion battery will explode and catch fire under the condition of a certain resistance short connection, and show the maximum current of the short connection through the relevant instrument. The short circuit test chamber integrated a variety of battery short circuit test standard requirement. According to the requirements of standard short circuit device must conform to the scope of internal resistance ≤5mΩ thus to get the large short-circuit current test requirements.

How to Use the Short Circuit Test Chamber ? After the battery is fully charged according to the prescribed test method, it is placed in an environment of 55℃ ±5℃. After the battery temperature reaches 55℃ ±5℃, it is placed for 30 minutes. Then use wire connection battery positive and negative port, and ensure that all external resistance is 80mΩ ±20mΩ

During the test with short circuit test chamber, the temperature change of the battery is monitored. When one of the following two situations occurs, the test is terminated. (1) Battery temperature drops to 20% below peak. (2) The short connection time reaches 24 hours. Test results judgement: the battery should not fire or explode, and the highest temperature should not exceed 150℃
