Solar Simulation Chamber → Metal Halide Lamp Test Chamber → DIN 75 220

Wewon Tech has developed solar simulation chambers for automobile components customers according to DIN 75 220 test standard. The design of solar simulation chambers from Wewon Tech meets the specific requirements of DIN 75 220 Table 1 for the irradiance spectrum. According to the requirements of the test standard, a sunlight simulation system must be installed to simulate the light aging characteristics of the whole vehicle or component. The metal halide lamps shall be assembled on the rail brackets in the solar simulation unit.

Test engineer can use the DIN 75 220 test to evaluate changes in the performance of parts or vehicles after irradiation, including changes in shape, color, gloss, feel, strength, sealing, and changes in artificial full irradiation, heat/cold and various thermal expansion results under the action of humidity were evaluated. The DIN 75220 test standard is mainly designed for automobile sunlight simulation aging test.

Determination of the ageing characteristics of polymeric automotive structural components in their original structural position and manner of assembly by completing DIN 75 220 test trials. This method is applied to vehicle assembly components or entire vehicles and is therefore particularly suitable for revealing the interaction of various materials within a structural member or between structural members. The light stand is fixed on the top, but the light field can obtain light intensity with uniformity within ±10% at different heights.

We use German original metal halide lamps and dimmers, which are specially designed for daylight simulation experiments to simulate the real solar spectrum. Metal halide lamp test chambers evaluate the ability of equipment used and stored outdoors to withstand direct solar radiation to produce thermal and optical effects. After the test, the appearance and working performance of the product are verified to evaluate whether the materials and devices of the product can resist the requirements of outdoor solar radiation.
Multi-variable control, users can choose light intensity feedback or black body temperature feedback control mode. Equipment Features
Imported metal halide lamps ensure no drift in chromatography during the service life. Imported power supply ensures accurate power output and can effectively prolong lamp life.
The light stand can be raised and lowered, the automatic positioning motor system, and the angle of the light stand can be adjusted. It can be designed as a movable light stand according to customer needs.
Metal lampshade, equipped with filter glass, easy to disassemble structure, easy to replace the lamp. Solar simulation chambers from Wewon Tech are also suitable for solar radiation testing of aircraft, unmanned surveillance equipment.
A metal halide lamp is a gas discharge lamp that energizes with a metal halide to provide a distribution of spectral energy very similar to direct and diffuse. The method has high efficiency, and a single irradiation light source effect can be produced by placing a plurality of radiation light sources in a certain manner. The spectral distribution of metal halide lamps is very similar to the sunlight received by the earth’s surface, but due to the relatively large scale of metal halide lamps, it is mainly suitable for artificial light aging accelerated tests of large equipment such as automobiles and their parts and electrical and electronic products.

During the test, different test methods and different test periods can be selected according to different use conditions. According to the test standard of MIL-STD-810 Method 505.4, the first procedure is the cyclic test and the second procedure is the steady state test. Program 1 focuses on the effects and influences produced by solar radiation; Program 2 focuses on photochemical effects produced by solar radiation. Wewon’s solar simulation system comply with the test standard, such as DIN 75 220, MIL-STD-810 Method 505.4, GJB 150.7A-2009
